We installed this system a month ago and after a few initial hiccups it's working just fine. The price point and ability to install ourselves were the primary reasons for choosing this system once we read the reviews.I found the self installation instructions to be mediocre at best. They should have one separate booklet addressing installation of the system and the other addressing how to program both the system and individual phones. The instructions were unclear on a number of important points forcing us to do trial and error repeatedly. I must have re-initialized the system 15 or 20 times during set up. Unless you have experience wiring jacks, do what we did and have the phone company install modular jacks where the phone lines enter your premises. Apparently that's not extremely common in office building applications in some areas. We did not wire to jacks at each extension, we wired from the Xblue box directly to each phone; worked just fine.As another reviewer said, note that this is a good phone system, not a great one. The value however is exceptional.Overall I'm really happy with the system; we saved money on purchase, installation and not needing a maintenance contract.I have been using this phone system for almost a year with two lines and 5 extensions. The system has worked flawlessly in that time. This extension was easily added to my previous kit and the signal works well at a 200ft distance between the base and this handset. The features on this phone help with business management including the ability to set the mailbox, name the extension and page other phones internally. Purchasing this phone to add to an existing system takes only minutes to get the phone set up. I am very happy with this phone and the system.I bought 2 Xblue X16's for my small office. The only glitch that was not made clear when I made the purchase is that an X16 server is necessary to have all the cool features of the phones work. So we had to purchase a server, too. Now that it is set up, I love it. I haven't spent enough time with the user's manual to know how all the features work, but the features I do know are easy to access. Since I'm not much of a tech nerd, it was extremely necessary to have Xblue Networks tech support help me set-up the phones and the server. They were great. Patient and knowledgeable and VERY quick to call back when you leave a message-like within an hour! Unheard of!These phones replaced the worst-ever AT&T phones and I couldn't be happier. It's only been a week, but if this keeps up, when it's time to expand, Xblue gets my business. The phone can use up to 6 phone lines. The server holds up to 4 lines, so an add-on would be required for more. After 3-1/2 years, my system has a short in it resulting in mid-conversation disconnects and false phone rings(the phone rings 1/2 time to 1 time and no one is there. It wasn't an inexpensive system so I don't expect to be purchasing new phones or phone systems every 3-4 years. Is the server or the phones? If it's the phones, which phones are causing the problem? Aaaaaaggghhh! These phones look very nice. However, they did not configure to my phone system and i could not use them at all. I requested a refund and mailed them back. UPS tracking says they were returned on 6/8 but I still have not received my refund. This system works well for our small office with six extensions. Don't plan installing it yourself, though. The cost of hiring a pro is well worth the investment. I have only two minor complaints: The shape of the phone makes is almost impossible to rest on your shoulder while talking. If you do that at all, get some of those stick-on rubber shoulder rests. Also, the phone is so light that whenever a push a button, the phone moves a half-inch or so away. Easily remedied by putting something stout behind it.Very happy with this system for the price. Havent had any issues.I can not give tech support any stars, only because I have not had to use them. We did have a professional to install these since we only utilized the old fashioned multi line land line. We have had no issues and are enjoying the new phones.Purchased a complete XBlue X-16 system a few years ago for our business. Easy to install and setup. Personally I don’t like the attendant service, but we made it work OK. Reason for the 1 star review is you can’t get parts for the phones. We need 6 handsets that stopped working all together or partially. XBlue no longer sells the $20 handset (I would even settle for the $24 Pink Handset), you have to buy the whole phone to get a new handset!! XBlue called me this morning to explain the manufacturer no longer makes handsets and they will be removing the Handsets from their site in the purchase parts section (they’ve been showing out of stock for over a month). Ended up having to purchase 2 complete phones for the 2 handsets that won’t work at all, and try to make the best of what we can with the other 4 (maybe try some generic replacements). If you have a business, consider another manufacturer that can support their product.Update 8/13/19: Just checked the XBlue Web site again. They now show the handsets in stock, just ordered a bunch.
