We use our laptops with Skype for Business for conference calls which works fine when only one person is interacting with the laptop, but not so well for a group in a meeting room. This device transforms a laptop into a full featured speakerphone with great audio, omni-directional mike, mute button with indicator, and a hangup button. I also discovered I could answer Skype calls without logging into my laptop first - just press the answer key. It will also turn your phone into a speakerphone. Really a great product.
